This Privacy Policy envisages and explains the manner in which data is collected and the manner in which it is used in relation to the website (the “Website”). By visiting this Website you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. In the event that you do not agree to the same please do not use or access our Website. By mere use of the Website, you expressly consent to our use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2.1. This Privacy Policy envelops two categories of information, namely, personally identifiable information (the “PII”) and the non-personally identifiable information (the “NPII”). PII essentially includes, but is not limited to, information which can be used to identify, contact or locate you such as your name, home and business address, email addresses, contact details, your Facebook profile if you choose to log in through the Facebook login process, your Google+ profile if you choose to log in through the Google+ login process, and payment details. NPII includes, but is not limited to, your IP address, cookies, third party’s cookies and web pages that have been viewed by you on the Website. The details related to your payments (such as details of your credit card, debit card or net banking etc.) that you submit while making a payment or a contribution on the Website goes through the safe and secure transaction process provided by our international payment gateway partner, PayPal. You may also be taken through Visa or Mastercard pages, as the case may be, based on your payment method(s), which prevent any misuse of payment details. At this stage it is important for you to note that such details are not shared with the Website, the Company or any other user of the Website.

5.1.2. Contributions

It is important for you to know that any amount towards contributions made by you on the Website is shared only with the Company, international payment gateway partner and the particular project owner/creator. The reason that such information is shared with the particular project owner/ creator is to enable them to provide you with rewards based on the amount of your contribution. Such information is provided to the international payment gateway provider because the international payment gateway provider is involved in the financial transactions on the Website.

6.1. The existing regulatory environment and applicable law makes it necessary for us to disclose your Information in ways not explicitly highlighted in this Privacy Policy. The Company may disclose your Information in circumstances set out herein below:

However, when such Information is shared for such transactions we shall, to the greatest extent possible, ensure that the recipient is bound by all appropriate confidentiality obligations that the Company is obligated to ensure under this Privacy Policy.

The Company would like to clarify that notwithstanding anything else set out herein, this Privacy Policy is subject exclusively to the applicable laws of Singapore and you hereby provide your unequivocal consent to the same.

The Company may share your Information with its subsidiaries or affiliates. However, the Company shall ensure that such parties protect and safeguard such Information under their respective privacy policies.

The Company will suspend your membership and delete your contact information and financial information from its active databases upon request made by you via email at  Such information will be deleted as soon as reasonably possible in accordance with its policies and applicable law. However, the Company shall retain your Information, which shall not be visible to other users or visitors, to be used in certain circumstances including, but not limited to, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, enforce the Company Terms of Use and as required by applicable law.  Further, such Information is never completely removed and/or deleted from the Company’s databases due to technical and legal constraints, including stored backup systems and archives. In the light of the above, it is not possible for your Information to be completely removed and/or deleted from the Company’s databases in response to your requests.
